Lakes & Walking Trails

Woodwind Lakes has the following facilities and amenities available for residents:

Lakes and Walking/Jogging Trails

The community has three beautiful lakes with trees and benches around them. These also have fountains and waterfalls and are stocked with fish, with a "Catch and Release" policy being the rule. Several varieties of ducks and turtles also call our lakes home. Each lake has a walking/jogging trail with distances as follows:

• Lake 1 - 2,564 feet is located in the community of Section 1 with 150 homes
• Lake 2 - 4,142 feet is located in the community of Section 2 (132 homes) & Section 3 (166 homes)
• Lake 3 - 2,014 feet is located in the gated community of Section 4 with 182 homes

The distance between Lakes 1 & 2 is 770 feet. The distance between Lakes 1 & 3 is 745 feet.

Amenities

The Family Pool is located on 9015 Woodwind Lakes Drive at Ensemble Dr. A yearly seasonal sticker is sent to residents to be placed on their pool tags.  Current pool tags are required for admission.

The Adult Pool 

The Adult Pool is located on Allegro Dr. at Adagio Ave.  This pool has no lifeguards and is a "swim at your own risk" pool. No children under the age of twenty-one are permitted here except at private parties.  Current pool tags are required for admission to the pool.

The Pavilion   

The Pavilion is located next to the adult pool on Allegro Drive and is an open-air, roofed, wooden facility. It is lighted and has ceiling fans. Benches are located along the two sides. A barbecue grill is at the back as well as a cleared recreational area. Restrooms are located at the adult pool. The Pavilion may be reserved for parties by WWL residents only.

The Tennis Courts

Two gated regulation tennis courts are located at the Pavilion on Allegro Drive.  The controlled access facility features viewing bleachers, wind shielding and timer controlled lighting.  No reservation is required, but you will need to obtain an entrance key from the association.  There is ample lighted parking adjacent to the tennis facility.

Facility Reservations

The Pavilion and/or the Adult Pool may be reserved for parties on a first come, first serve basis.  Safety First is our approach and to ensure compliance, strict guidelines have been put in place.  Advance reservations require at least 4 weeks and a certified lifeguard must be hired if any children will be in the pool.  The following document provides the guidelines for using the pool.

Texas Aquatics is the approved vendor for certified lifeguards for hire.  Residents must contact Texas Aquatic directly to schedule lifeguards and arrange payments.
